2026/2027 INDOOR HOUSE LEAGUE REGISTRATION COMING SOON!
SC Toronto plays futsal style house league during the indoor season. Futsal House League is our indoor version of house league soccer, played in a gym on a smaller court with a smaller, heavier, low-bounce futsal ball. The game is still focused on fun, development and participation, but the smaller playing area and faster pace give players more opportunities to touch the ball, make decisions, pass, dribble and defend. While futsal has its own rules and style of play, our program is not a separate competitive program—it is simply house league soccer adapted for the indoor gym environment. Players will continue to learn and enjoy the game in a fun, supportive and age-appropriate setting.
■ House league for boys and girls ages 5 to 16 [born 2022-2011]

It is very important that all players attend to receive their uniforms, as proper sizing is required. The full uniform distribution schedule will be posted and emailed.
BEGINNING OF SEASON
The indoor season will begin November 7 & 8
What is Futsal?
Futsal is a fast-paced, small-sided version of soccer, typically played indoors on a hard court with a smaller, low-bounce ball. Originating in South America, futsal emphasizes quick thinking, close ball control, and creative play. With teams of five players, including the goalkeeper, the game encourages rapid passing, sharp movement, and tight technical skills due to the limited space and constant pressure from opponents. Futsal is widely recognized for its role in developing top soccer talent, as it helps players improve their agility, decision-making, and ability to operate in tight spaces—skills that are directly transferable to outdoor soccer. It’s also a fun and engaging way for players of all levels to enhance their technical abilities while enjoying the sport.

We strive to balance the teams. To make the program fun and accessible for all, team rosters are randomly generated and balanced based on date of birth and player evaluations by previous coaches. The exceptions are siblings in the same age group, the children of 2 co-coaches per team and team sponsors. Special teaming requests cannot be accepted and will not be acknowledged.
